Welcome

The BioGENext conference is dedicated to the latest advancements in the field of next-generation therapy development. Our program features presentations by leading international and Ukrainian speakers from academia and industry, focusing on nucleic acid and recombinant protein-based therapeutics, gene editing, bioinformatics, and other translational studies.

The meeting will take place on September 17-20, 2024, in Kyiv, Ukraine. While the event will be held in a hybrid format, we strongly encourage in-person attendance as networking is a primary goal. We are committed to creating an interactive program, facilitating communication through flash talk sessions, virtual poster presentations, live poster discussions, and on-site networking opportunities.

Abstracts submitted by participants will undergo review by the Scientific Committee and will be published in the international peer-reviewed journal "Biopolymers and Cell." Top abstract authors will have the opportunity to present orally during the main program or in a flash talk session.

Participation in the conference is free of charge, with a small abstract publication fee applicable. Registration is mandatory for all participants and speakers.

Our mission

We firmly believe that quality science and the ability to translate its results into innovative products or technologies are the key to the future development of Ukraine. Pharmaceutical biotechnology should be among the priority fields as they define the society’s ability to resist global health challenges, as massive as pandemics and as unique as orphan diseases.

To integrate Ukrainian science with the international community, it's crucial for academia, industry, and government to collaborate toward a shared goal: creating an environment that fosters the growth and advancement of biomedicalresearch. Recognizing the importance of building strong connections among the stakeholders within the country and at the international level, we are committed to hold a conference that will:

Become a platform for interaction among key stakeholders in Ukrainian biomedical and biopharmaceutical research.
Inspire biomedical and biopharmaceutical research in Ukraine by showcasing recent global advancements and cutting-edge technologies.
Promote collaboration and joint projects both nationally and internationally.
Encourage an educational focus on biomedicine and biotechnology programs in Ukrainian universities.
Initiate active dialogue and cooperation between academia, government and business aimed at creating a strategy for the development of biomedical and biopharmaceutical sectors
