Welcome / Bienvenue

Welcome to CSBBCS 2021! This year will be the 30th Annual meeting of the Canadian Society for Brain, Behaviour and Cognitive Science. While we had hoped to welcome you all to Montréal, due to the uncertainty around the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference will be virtual this year on the 17^th and 18^th June 2020.

Our aim in running the conference virtual is to showcase the high-quality research that is taking place in Canada by our society members in the fields of cognition, behaviour, and brain science. This conference is also an important step in the careers of many of our junior members – the graduate and undergraduate students, as it allows them the opportunity to present their research on a national stage.

Bienvenue à SCSCCC 2021! Cette année sera le 30e congrès annuel de la Société Canadienne pour les Sciences du Cerveau, du Comportement et de la Cognition. Alors que nous avions espéré vous accueillir tous à Montréal, en raison de l'incertitude entourant la pandémie de COVID-19, la conférence sera virtuelle cette année les 17 et 18 juin 2020.

Notre objectif en organisant la conférence virtuelle est de mettre en valeur la recherche de haute qualité menée au Canada par les membres de notre société dans les domaines de la cognition, du comportement et des sciences du cerveau. Cette conférence est également une étape importante dans la carrière de bon nombre de nos membres juniors - les étudiants diplômés et de premier cycle, car elle leur permet de présenter leurs recherches sur une scène nationale.
