Role Models & Research
Meet the people turning synchrotron light into interesting new information. Many perspectives are necessary to find answers to big research questions. We will highlight a few pathways to discovery that will connect to common concepts taught in biology, chemistry, physics, & environmental studies. Anna-Maria Boechler, Education Specialist will lead this session with Tracy Walker, Education Programs Lead. They will be joined by Dr. Chithra Karunakaran (Director of Science & Innovation), Dr. Toby Bond (Senior Scientist within the Industry Group), Julia Doucette-Garr (Accelerator Operator), and Grace Flaman (Associate Scientist on the Mid-Infrared Beamline).
