Indigenizing Synchrotron Science
Many STEM educators have commented that they are struggling to find ways to include Indigenous perspectives and Ways of Knowing in their courses. The CLS Education team has been exploring this for a couple of years, working with various people including Elders and Traditional Knowledge Keepers. We are learning and interested in sharing our experiences and approaches. This session will be lead by Tracy Walker, Education Programs Lead and Anna-Maria Boechler, Education Specialist. Elder Kathy Wahpepah Eashappie will provide guidance, wisdom, and reflection.
