WELCOME

Dear members of Québec-Océan and Allies,

Québec-Océan is pleased to invite you to participate in its Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM2023) which will be held from February 6th to 7th, 2023 at the Hôtel Universel in Rivière-du-Loup (QC, Canada). It will be preceded by a Student Day from February 5th to 6th.

This face-to-face meeting, after more than two years of virtual exchanges, will be an opportunity to celebrate together the 20th anniversary of our strategic cluster and to review the achievements of Québec-Océan and its members over the past year. The program will include invited presenters, regular conferences, poster sessions and networking opportunities. Student Day will also include a workshop on how to create a graphic abstract.

The trust and support of the FRQNT have been renewed for the next 6 years, thus anchoring the actions of our strategic cluster in time. 2023 announces the launch of innovative framework initiatives that will lead to new collaborations, as well as a renewal of the Québec-Océan coordination team. New challenges ahead!

Is there a better way to initiate future collaborations than to get to know each other, to learn about new scientific advances in oceanography and to discuss the challenges of research in this field?
