INCAM Research Symposium 2024

Over the last 20 years, the Symposium has become the premier research meeting in Canada on complementary and integrative health care. It brings together a diverse group of individuals from across disciplines, capturing a range of research expertise and research interests. It has been described as an idea lab - it creates an environment that enables a high level of interaction and quality discussion to address challenging questions and innovative ways to explore these questions.

Help shape the future by coming together to examine 'Traditions, Transitions & Tipping Points: Exploring the Relevance & Impact of Integrative Health Research on Individuals, Communities, and the Planet’. This biennial event continues to be more than just a conference; it's a journey of discovery and transformation. Amidst the challenges we face together, let's reignite our connections within the Canadian community. Engage with us at the 2024 Symposium, where we'll catalyze new research ideas, forge lasting collaborations, and shape the future landscape of TCAIM. Join us in unraveling the mysteries and potentials of integrative health, as we navigate the intricate interplay between tradition, change, and impactful advancements for a healthier world.

INCAM is a collaborative and interdisciplinary research community in Canada, generating knowledge through research about traditional, complementary, alternative, and integrative forms of medicine (TCAIM), whole-person healing, and whole systems healthcare to enhance the health of Canadians. This includes the development and dissemination of new knowledge regarding therapeutic and lifestyle or mind-body approaches to health, as well as medical systems and biological, manipulative, and body-based methods and therapies.

Since its launch in 2004, INCAM has been instrumental in defining a TCAIM research community in Canada. Today, INCAM is the place to go for researchers, educators, and practitioners who are interested in research that aims to address challenging questions in innovative ways in this emerging area of practice and research.
