Dr. Lynda G Balneaves, RN, PhD
Dr. Balneaves is a Full Professor and Associate Dean of Research in the College of Nursing, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba. Previously, she has held academic positions at the University of Toronto and the University of British Columbia. Her research program has focused on the use of complementary therapies in the context of cancer and the development and evaluation of knowledge translation and decision-support interventions for individuals living with cancer and oncology health professionals. She also engages in health policy and person-centred research related to medical and non-medical cannabis. She is a past president of the Society for Integrative Oncology and the former deputy director of the Canadian Consortium for the Investigation of Cannabinoids.

Dr. Kieran Cooley, ND
Dr. Kieran Cooley is Director of Research at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and holds adjunct appointments as Instructor at the University of Toronto, and as Adjunct Research Fellow at the National Centre for Naturopathic Medicine at Southern Cross University. Kieran also serves as co-chair of the Research Working Group of the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine, on the Research Advisory Board of the RAND REACH Center for Collaborative Research in Complementary and Integrative Health, the World Naturopathic Federation, and on the board of the Natural Health Products Research Society. He is committed to fostering an evidence-based approach to naturopathic medicine.
