About the ISSVA World Congress

The International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies (ISSVA) will host the ISSVA World Congress 2026: The Latest in Vascular Anomalies (formerly the Workshop), in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Congress will take place from 19-22 May 2026.

Philadelphia is the birthplace of the United States, and America's first UNESCO World Heritage City. It is known for its arts, culture, cuisine, and colonial and Revolutionary-era history. It will be an exciting opportunity for professionals in the field of vascular anomalies to gather and exchange knowledge, underscoring the importance of global collaboration and innovation in addressing vascular anomalies.

Scientific Program

The Scientific Program will be a venue to present the latest advances in research and science in vascular anomalies. It will also feature an introductory Primer course and interesting cases that attendees can participate in to increase their knowledge in the fundamentals and advanced topics in the field. The ISSVA World Congress 2026 will provide a multidisciplinary forum for many specialties including, but not limited to, interventional radiologists, dermatologists, plastic surgeons, otolaryngologists, oncologists, pediatricians, pediatric surgeons, hematologists, and pathologists and affiliated disciplines like nurse practitioners.

Late Breaking Abstracts

A Late Breaking Abstract session will take place at the ISSVA World Congress 2026. This session is intended for research or studies that have concluded and have important findings that are beneficial for the vascular anomaly field since the original submission period ended. It is not intended for submissions that missed the original submission deadline.
The portal for submissions will open on 16 February 2026 and will close on 28 February 2026. Decisions will be made and finalized in mid-March.

Call For Abstracts

The abstract submission portal is now closed. All abstract notifications will be sent out on/by 28 January 2026.

Format

The ISSVA World Congress 2026 will be held in a hybrid in-person / virtual format. We invite you to participate in this global congress as either a participant or as a sponsor to be a part of this network and growing trend of knowledge sharing through oral presentations, difficult cases, and poster sessions.
