Train yourself!
The seminar will take the form of theoretical lectures on rehabilitation and practical demonstrations of walking training. This training aims to develop the practices and interventions of rehabilitation professionals who intervene with low- to moderately high activity amputees in order to improve the quality of care offered to this clientele.
Through the different topics covered during the training, participants will develop their knowledge and skills in gait biomechanics, prosthetic components and prosthetic training.

Specific objectives
Following this training, the learner will be able to :
- Integrate the most appropriate functional outcome measures for amputee rehab and prosthetic care
- Identify the most effective treatments for evidence-based amputee rehabilitation
- Differentiate the functional biomechanics of transtibial and transfemoral amputee gait
- Perform a structured assessment of amputee gait with a prosthesis
- Familiarize themselves with the different steps of prosthetic training from initial exercises to advanced gait and agility training
- Describe the functional considerations of different prosthetic components
Certificate of participation
A certificate of participation will be given to the participants at the end of the seminar. Note that it is necessary to participate in all the training activities and complete the evaluation of the event within 7 working days to receive this certificate. No certificate will be issued beyond this period.
In compliance with the moratorium put in place by SOFEDUC for the issuance of continuing education unit (CEUs) during activities such as webinars, conferences, congresses, symposiums, study days, etc., the CIUSSS de la Capitale-Nationale will not issue any CEU for this activity. Thank you for your understanding.
Thus, each of the participants will have to approach their professional order to have this activity accredited as continuing education. The coordination team took care to include the various documents that are usually required by the orders.

- Name of the organization responsible for the activity;
