Step 1 - Validate your eligibility
Check that you are eligible to do an internship under this program. See the criteria.
Step 2 - Choose your internship
Consult the offers displayed under the Internship Bank tab. Click on “Filters” to the right of the search bar to search for offers corresponding to your situation (study program, academic level, etc.). The offers are only available en French at this time.
1st choice of internship: Choose the internship offer that interests you the most. This offer will be submitted to the research team in priority, as applications are received.
Other internship choices (optional): You can also choose other internships that interest you. These offers will be sent to the teams two weeks after the application deadline, in order to give priority to the teams selected in the 1st choice. There is no limit to the number of offers you can select. However, we recommend that you do not select more than 2 additional internships. The teams will see the choices you have made, and may not take you seriously if you select too many offers...
Step 3 - Submit your application
Applicants can prepare their file in French or English.
Click on the Submit your application tab to complete the web form. You will need to include the following documents:
Cover letter describing your career plan, your interest in research and in pursuing graduate studies, as well as the reasons for your choice of internship (maximum 650 words).
A curriculum vitae detailing, if applicable, your previous research experience and the distinctions received;
Your most recent college or university transcript. Unofficial transcripts are accepted. For medical students who do not have access to their transcripts for their current studies, the most recent available transcript is accepted (for example, the college transcript).
A letter of reference can be added to the application file, if desired (optional - strongly recommended for college-level students).
Please note that the Research Department reserves the right to reject any incomplete file or any file that does not meet the eligibility conditions.
Step 4 - Interviews
Selected candidates will be contacted by the Research Teams for an interview (in person or virtually).
As the files are transmitted in 2 steps, it is possible that you will be contacted within a few days after the submission of your application, or only in the 2nd round of recruitment, or even at the beginning of January, depending on the availability of the teams.
Step 5 - Confirmation of selected candidates
The research teams will make recruitment offers to the selected candidates on January 17, 2025, at the latest.
Step 6 - Apply to an Internship Competition
