This one-day seminar will provide an overview of radiological security including discussions around new strategies and technologies, as well as equipment demonstrations. You will also learn about ways to mitigate the potential security risks from high-activity radioactive sources through the use of accelerator technologies such as X-ray and electron beam in place of source-based technologies. Concepts that will be covered include: Materials of Concern Containment Strategy Insider Threat Mitigation Cybersecurity Transport Security Source End-of-Life Management Lunch will be served in Mt. Hood
