Noémi Dahan-Oliel, OT PhD is a clinician scientist at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Montreal, Canada and Associate Professor at the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy, McGill University. She is passionate about developing tools and knowledge on the assessments and treatments of children with arthrogryposis, using a lifespan approach. Her research program is supported by a Clinical Research Scholar Award from the Fonds de recherche du Québec- Santé as a Junior 1 (2020-2023) and Junior 2 (2024-2027), a provincial agency that funds health research. She also received a Rising Star Award from the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research for her work on common data elements in arthrogryposis to provide a foundation for standardized data collection at the international level. Her research portfolio focuses on delivery of multidisciplinary care, rehabilitation, patient engagement and knowledge translation using mixed-methods in collaboration with people with lived experience, clinicians and researchers across disciplines and countries. She has supervised and mentored over 50 undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral students for their research projects. She serves on the editorial boards of Disability & Rehabilitation, and Physical and Occupational Therapy in Pediatrics journals, and is a grant reviewer for several local and national funding agencies.

Reggie Hamdy, MD is a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon at the Shriners Hospitals for Children - Canada and the Montreal Children Hospital since 1993. He is a tenured Professor of Surgery at McGill University and currently is the Medical Director of the Motion Analysis Laboratory, Director of the Limb Lengthening and Deformity correction Unit and Director of the Undergraduate and Post-Graduate Training Program in Paediatric Orthopaedics. His main clinical interests include the management of children with complex conditions and deformities, specifically Osteogenesis Imperfecta, skeletal dysplasias, neuromuscular conditions, arthrogryposis and children and adolescents with congenital and acquired limb deformities. He is the new Chairman of the Limb Reconstruction Committee of the Société Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopédique et Traumatologie. He is the author or co-author of over 140 peer review publications, Editor of a Book on Pelvic and femoral osteotomies in children and the Co-Editor of an Atlas on Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction. He is a dedicated and passionate physician to children with limb deformities.
