The ClostPath conferences have always valued the mentoring and development of young scientists. ClostPath 11 featured the introduction of the Young Scientist meeting and was hugely popular. Feedback given on this event indicated that young scientists crave information on career opportunities, networking opportunities, and an overall introduction to a tight-knit scientific community. Even during the virtually-held ClostPath 12 conference, a young scientist meeting was held just prior to the start of the conference. Trainees appreciated the space to connect with other students and with professionals ahead of the main meeting. Those listed below have generously agreed to be a panelist at the ClostPath 13 Young Scientist session.
