Post Conference (Pre-Registration Required)
Busses pickup participants from Hedberg building at 8.30 am. Day 1 of COCE’s Post-Conference Deep Ecology workshop facilitated by John Seed , rainforest activist and Australian father of the Deep Ecology movement. Environmental communication scholar Tema Milstein will co-facilitate along with Erika Aligno. The immersive experience will guide participants through Deep Ecology’s processes (The Mourning, The Remembering, The Grounding), comprised of the Council of All Beings (created by Seed and Joanna Macy) and other experiential activities designed to touch deeper than intellect and dispel the dominant illusion of separation between humans and nature. Vegetarian lunch provided (with gluten free, vegan options). Saturday dinner at the Ferntree Tavern. Buses return Saturday to Hedberg at 9.30 pm Spaces limited.
