How to Reach the Conference Venue

Recommended Route for Most International Participants

Split Airport → Split Ferry Port → direct catamaran to Bol → Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa

This is normally the simplest way to reach the conference venue.

If the direct catamaran from Split to Bol does not fit your flight schedule, you can take a ferry from Split to Supetar and then continue to Bol by pre-arranged transfer, taxi or local bus.

Which Route Should You Choose?

• If you are arriving at Split Airport: take the airport shuttle to Split Ferry Port and then the direct catamaran to Bol.

• If you arrive too late for the direct catamaran: take a ferry from Split to Supetar and arrange a transfer or taxi from Supetar to Bol.

• If you are flying directly to Brač Airport: arrange a taxi or private transfer from the airport to the hotel.

• If you are arriving by car: take the car ferry from Split to Supetar and then drive to Bol.

ARRIVAL IN BOL

1. Recommended Route: Split Airport to Bol

Step 1: Split Airport to Split Ferry Port

Split Airport (SPU) is located approximately 25 km west of Split.

The Main Bus Station in Split and Split Ferry Port are located next to each other. Passengers arriving by the official airport shuttle do not need another bus or taxi to reach the port.

After leaving the airport shuttle at the Main Bus Station, follow the signs for “Trajektna luka”, “Ferry Port” or “Luka”.

The ferry and catamaran piers are only a few minutes away on foot. As the exact departure pier may change, please check the electronic departure boards in the port.

Official Airport Shuttle Bus — Recommended

The official Platanus airport shuttle departs from the area immediately outside the airport terminal and travels directly to the Main Bus Station in Split.

• Journey time: approximately 30-40 minutes

• One-way ticket: €10

• Return ticket: €15

• Luggage: one suitcase is included

• Tickets: available online or directly before boarding

• Payment at the airport: cash or card

• Arrival point in Split: Main Bus Station, next to the ferry port

The shuttle normally operates in coordination with flight arrivals.

After arriving at the Main Bus Station, allow approximately 5-10 minutes to walk to the correct catamaran or ferry pier.

Taxi or Private Transfer

Taxis are available outside the airport terminal.

• Journey time: approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic

• Approximate price: usually €50-€70 per vehicle

• Destination to give the driver: Split Ferry Port or Main Bus Station, Obala kneza Domagoja 12

We recommend confirming the total price with the driver before starting the journey.

A pre-booked private transfer may be convenient for groups or passengers arriving shortly before their catamaran departure.

Traffic can be heavy, particularly at weekends. Please leave sufficient time between your flight arrival and the catamaran or ferry departure.

2. Travelling from Split to Brač

There are two ways to travel from Split to Brač:

• Option 1: Direct catamaran from Split to Bol — recommended

• Option 2: Ferry from Split to Supetar, followed by a road transfer to Bol

Option 1: Direct Catamaran from Split to Bol — Recommended

The direct catamaran is the easiest option because it takes you directly to Bol and no additional road transfer across the island is required.

The journey takes approximately one hour.

As the conference takes place late in the season, the number of direct departures is limited. We strongly recommend purchasing your ticket in advance.

Split to Bol — Sunday, 27 September 2026

Krilo

• Departure from Split: 10:30

• Approximate arrival in Bol: 11:30

• Journey time: approximately 1 hour

• Approximate adult fare: €20

• Schedule and tickets: Krilo

Jadrolinija

• Departure from Split: 16:30

• Arrival in Bol: 17:35

• Journey time: 1 hour and 5 minutes

• Adult fare: €10

• Schedule and tickets: Jadrolinija

Catamaran tickets are valid only for the departure selected during booking. Purchasing a ticket also reserves your place on that departure.

Where to Board in Split

Split Ferry Port is large and has several piers. The final pier may not be displayed on your ticket far in advance.

When you arrive at the port:

1. Check the electronic departure board.

2. Find Bol and your operator, either Krilo or Jadrolinija.

3. Check the pier number shown on the departure board.

4. Follow the signs to the correct pier.

5. Have your ticket or QR code ready on your mobile phone.

Please arrive at the port at least 30 minutes before departure. Allow additional time if you need to purchase a ticket at the port.

From Bol Port to Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa

Bol Port is located in the centre of Bol. Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa is located west of the town centre, along the seaside promenade in the direction of Zlatni Rat beach.

You can reach the hotel:

• On foot: approximately 20-25 minutes. The route follows the waterfront and is mostly flat, but it may be inconvenient with heavy luggage.

• By taxi: approximately 5 minutes.

• By pre-arranged transfer: recommended for participants carrying large suitcases or requiring assistance.

Option 2: Ferry from Split to Supetar and Transfer to Bol

Choose this option if the direct catamaran to Bol does not fit your flight schedule.

Supetar is the main ferry port on the island of Brač. Ferries between Split and Supetar operate much more frequently than direct catamarans between Split and Bol.

This journey consists of two parts:

1. Ferry from Split to Supetar — approximately 50 minutes.

2. Road journey from Supetar to Bol — approximately 40-70 minutes, depending on whether you travel by private transfer, taxi or local bus.

Split to Supetar — Sunday, 27 September 2026

Ferries are scheduled to depart from Split at:

05:00, 06:15, 08:00, 09:00, 10:30, 12:00, 14:15, 15:00, 15:45, 17:00, 18:00, 19:30, 21:00 and 23:59.

Travel information:

• Operator: Jadrolinija

• Journey time: approximately 50 minutes

• Adult passenger ticket: €6.50

• Child aged 3-12: €3.20

• Standard car ticket: €26.10, in addition to passenger tickets

• Tickets: Jadrolinija online shop

A passenger ticket for the Split-Supetar ferry is valid for any departure on the date shown on the ticket.

Passengers travelling with a car should arrive early because purchasing a ticket does not necessarily guarantee that the vehicle will board a particular departure.

3. Travelling from Supetar Port to Bol

The ferry arrives in the centre of Supetar. Supetar Bus Station is located on the waterfront, immediately beside the ferry port.

Bol is approximately 37 km from Supetar, on the southern side of the island.

You can continue to Bol by pre-arranged transfer, taxi or local bus.

A. Pre-arranged Bluesun Transfer — Recommended

Participants can arrange a private transfer from Supetar Port directly to Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa.

The Bluesun Travel Agency will try to combine participants arriving at similar times so that the cost can be shared.

Transfer prices are:

• 1-8 passengers: €91 per vehicle

• 9-15 passengers: €182 per vehicle

• 16-20 passengers: €220 per vehicle

The price is per vehicle, not per person.

For example, if eight participants share a vehicle costing €91, the cost will be approximately €11.40 per person.

B. Taxi from Supetar to Bol

Taxis are normally available near Supetar Ferry Port when ferries arrive.

• Driving time: approximately 40-50 minutes

• Price: confirm directly with the driver before departure

A taxi can be convenient and economical if several participants travel together. We recommend agreeing on the total price for the vehicle before starting the journey.

C. Local Bus from Supetar to Bol

A local bus operates between Supetar and Bol only a few times a day.

The timetable for the conference dates has not yet been published, and bus departures may not correspond with ferry arrival times. For this reason, we do not recommend relying on the local bus as your primary travel option.

Participants travelling via Supetar are strongly advised to pre-arrange a transfer with the Bluesun Travel Agency or take a taxi from Supetar Port to Bol.

The bus departs from Supetar Bus Station, located next to the ferry port, and arrives at Bol Bus Station:

Bol Bus Station is located near the harbour in the centre of Bol. From there, Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa is approximately 20-25 minutes away on foot or around 5 minutes by taxi.

4. Flying Directly to Brač Airport

Brač Airport (BWK) is the closest airport to the conference venue and is located approximately 15 km from Bol.

During the 2026 season, direct flights to Brač are available from selected cities, including:

• Zagreb — Croatia Airlines

• Belgrade — Air Serbia

• Luxembourg — Luxair

• Bolzano — SkyAlps

• Bratislava — SkyAlps

These flights are seasonal and operate only on specific days of the week.

For the conference dates, the most relevant option is the Croatia Airlines service between Zagreb and Brač.

Participants may be able to travel:

• from Zagreb to Brač on Saturday, 26 September 2026;

• from Brač to Zagreb on Saturday, 3 October 2026.

Please note that there is no Zagreb-Brač flight scheduled for Sunday, 27 September, and no Brač-Zagreb flight scheduled for Friday, 2 October.

Participants using this option may therefore need to arrive one day before the conference or stay one additional night after it ends.

Flight schedules, fares and availability should be checked directly with the relevant airline before booking:

From Brač Airport to Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa

There is no regular airport shuttle connecting every flight with Bol. Participants should arrange a taxi or hotel transfer in advance.

• Distance to the hotel: approximately 15 km

• Driving time: approximately 20-25 minutes

• Estimated taxi or private-transfer price: approximately €30-€45 per vehicle

5. Arriving by Car

Participants arriving by car should take the Jadrolinija car ferry from Split to Supetar.

The direct Split-Bol catamarans carry passengers only and cannot transport cars.

The journey consists of:

1. Driving to Split Ferry Port.

2. Taking the car ferry from Split to Supetar — approximately 50 minutes.

3. Driving from Supetar to Bol — approximately 40-50 minutes.

From Supetar, follow the road signs towards Nerežišća, Pražnica and Bol.

Approximate one-way ferry prices for 2026 are:

• Adult passenger: €6.50

• Child aged 3-12: €3.20

• Standard car up to 2 metres high: €26.10

Passenger tickets must be purchased in addition to the vehicle ticket.

Drivers should arrive at Split Ferry Port at least 60 minutes before departure, particularly during busy travel periods.

Parking is available at Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa.

DEPARTURE FROM BOL

6. Return Journey to Split

Participants leaving after the conference closes on Friday, 2 October, can use the organised conference shuttle to Supetar and continue to Split on the 14:30 ferry.

Participants leaving early in the morning on 2 or 3 October may use the direct Jadrolinija catamaran from Bol to Split.

Option 1: Organised Conference Shuttle to Supetar — 2 October

A shuttle bus will be organised for conference participants from Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa to Supetar Port on Friday, 2 October at 12:45.

The shuttle will arrive in time for the:

14:30 ferry from Supetar to Split

The exact shuttle departure time and meeting point at the hotel will be announced during the conference.

The ferry journey from Supetar to Split takes approximately 50 minutes.

After arriving in Split, walk from the ferry pier to the Main Bus Station. The stations are located next to each other. From there, you can take the official airport shuttle, a taxi or a private transfer to Split Airport.

Participants should not book a flight departing too soon after the ferry’s scheduled arrival in Split.

Please allow sufficient time for:

• disembarkation in Split;

• walking from the ferry pier to the Main Bus Station;

• waiting for the airport shuttle;

• the 30-40-minute journey to Split Airport;

• airline check-in and security procedures.

Option 2: Direct Catamaran from Bol to Split

The direct catamaran is the simplest return option for participants leaving Bol early in the morning.

• Journey time: approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes

The off-season fare applies from 28 September 2026.

Tickets are tied to the selected catamaran departure, so advance purchase is recommended.

Tickets can be purchased through the Jadrolinija online shop.

After arriving in Split, the official airport shuttle departs from the Main Bus Station beside the port.

Allow at least 30-45 minutes to disembark, locate the Main Bus Station and find the correct shuttle.

The shuttle journey from Split to the airport takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Additional time must be allowed for airline check-in and security procedures.

Option 3: Other Ferries from Supetar to Split — 2 October

Participants who do not use the organised conference shuttle can arrange a private transfer or taxi from Bol to Supetar and continue to Split by ferry.

Ferries are scheduled to depart from Supetar at:

05:00, 06:15, 07:45, 09:00, 10:30, 12:30, 14:30, 15:30, 18:00, 19:30, 20:45 and 22:45.

If the organised conference shuttle is not suitable for your travel schedule, you can arrange a private transfer from Bol to Supetar through the Bluesun Travel Agency.

IMPORTANT TRAVEL ADVICE

• Check all flight, ferry and catamaran schedules again shortly before travelling.

• Ferry and catamaran timetables may change because of weather or operational circumstances.

• Book direct catamaran tickets in advance because the number of seats is limited.

• Keep your electronic ticket or QR code available on your mobile phone.

• Arrive at the port at least 30 minutes before a catamaran departure.

• Passengers travelling with a vehicle should arrive at least 60 minutes before the ferry departure.

• Allow additional time when connecting from a ferry or catamaran to a flight.

• Do not calculate your flight connection based only on the scheduled arrival time in Split.

• If travelling through Supetar, do not rely on the local bus unless you have checked and confirmed that its departure corresponds with your ferry arrival.

• If you are unsure which route is suitable, contact the conference organisers before purchasing non-refundable travel tickets.
