Flash talk presentations:

Networks members are invited to submit an abstract to present their work in the form of a flash talk presentation. Presentations should be related to bio-imaging and include results (preliminary results are acceptable).

A prize of $250 will be awarded to the best student or postdoc flash talk presenter in each session! Faculty members are welcome to present, but will not be eligible for the flash talk awards.

Flash talks may be presented in either English or French.

Abstract submission deadline: April 29, 2022

Upload deadline: You must upload your flash talk slides in both Powerpoint (.ppt or .pptx) AND PDF formats by May 29, 2022

Note to flash talk presenters:

Due to the overwhelming number of submissions this year, there will be no formal discussion sessions following the flash talks. Instead, we encourage you to include your contact information on your flash talk slides and to use the coffee and lunch breaks during the event to discuss your work with fellow attendees.

We have also had to slightly reduce the amount of time allocated for each flash talk. You will be given exactly 2.5 minutes (not 3 minutes as previously indicated) to present your flash talk in the auditorium with a maximum of 3 slides. It is very important that you do not exceed your allocated time. Each flash talk will be timed, and you will be interrupted if you exceed 2.5 minutes. You will NOT need to connect your own laptop to present your flash talk.
