Many of you wrote to us asking for more details on certain aspect of the congress, here are some answers to the most common questions:

  • Can I register for the event without submitting an abstract?
    Yes, you can fully register without submitting an abstract and participate in the Workshop, Conferences and view the virtual posters
  • When will the virtual posters be displayed?
    The virtual posters will be available for consultation by all registered participants during the second day of the event directly on our platform. While waiting for the Journée Phare, only your own poster can be viewed and modified via your Fourwaves account.
  • When can I registered to the event? ?
    Until the day of the event February 4, 2021
  • When can I submit an abstract for a virtual poster?
    Until February 1, 2021, however, you have until February 5, 2021 to modify the content of your virtual poster (poster, images and slides).
  • When can I submit an abstract for an oral presentation ?
    Until January 17, 2021, after this date we will contact you very quickly to let you know if your summary has been selected or not.
    8 oral presentations will be selected in total, the duration of the oral presentations will be 7 minutes with a question time of 3 minutes.
  • Can I submit my abstract for virtual poster AND oral presentation ?
    Yes, you can participate to both during the event.
  • Is there a word limit for submitting your abstract / title?
    There is no limit of word to your abstract and title this year!
  • Until when can I edit my virtual poster ?
    You have until February 5, 2021 11:30 a.m. (EST), time of the virtual poster consultation session.
  • Am I required to add files in the "Images" and "Slides" sections when submitting my virtual poster??
    No, editing your "Virtual Poster" page is at your discretion, so you can upload images, slides and files to complete your presentation and focus on important results if you wish, but it is not mandatory.
  • What is the benefit of adding a slide presentation to my Virtual Poster page? ?
    You have the opportunity to link to your virtual poster a "powerpoint" type presentation. You also have the opportunity to upload your powerpoint document with your voice presentation recorded with Powerpoint's "Record Slideshow" mode.
  • Do I have to attend the Virtual Poster session if I have submitted one?
    Yes, we ask all those who submitted a virtual poster to be available for the duration of the session in order to interact with the congress participants via the Chat Room. You can consult the posters of other participants but we advise you to always keep the page of your own Virtual Poster open in a tab for the duration of the session.
  • Do I have to upload all my material to submit an abstract?
    No, only the abstract and the title are mandatory to finish your submission. You can upload your material (images, slides and other files) whenever you want.
