Discuss the role of opioids for palliative pain management. 2. Identify commonly used opioids and equianalgesic dosing. 3. Navigate the resistance you may experience from the patient and caregiver against initiating opioid use for pain management. 4. Utilize opioids for pain management and adjust the dose along the trajectory of disease.
