    Palliative Care Education Session Topic: Palliative Care Emergencies Date: Thursday, February 6, 2025 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. EST Speaker: Dr. Sara Nykilchyk Learning Objectives At the end of this session participants will be able to: 1. Anticipate potential patient emergencies and plan possible management options accordingly with patients and families while respecting goals of care. 2. Identify clinical signs that may lead to early detection of palliative care emergencies. 3. Manage palliative care emergencies, including consideration of treating potential reversible causes, if aligns with patients goals of care.
