Program Title: Sault Area Hospital - Emergency Medicine Rounds Session Title: Diagnosis Disaster: Principles of preparing an emergency department to respond to the next crisis Presenter: Dr. Pauline Ratelle Session Description: We would like to invite you to attend our monthly Emergency Department Rounds. The goal is to provide an opportunity to achieve more understanding about some of the common/ interesting emergency medicine topics. Learning rounds will be monthly and open to all staff including ED staff, medical students and rotating residents, SSM AMA faculty and those with an interest in emergency medicine. The rounds will be the first Wednesday of every month at noon. It will be about an hour and include didactic presentation(s) and Q & A period. Learning Objectives: 1. Explore types of disasters and aspects of disaster preparedness 2. Review principles and practices of emergency department and hospital response to a disaster 3. Consider methods of exercising disaster response skills for ED and hospital staff Registration Instructions: Please sign-in to Webex with your first and last name.
